HOW WE FIND THE NIGHT

Better signals.
Real dance floors.

Sources you can check

RaveTide combines curated listings with automatically refreshed calendars from venues and promoters in the USA and Canada. Organizer sources are our current focus; Edmtrain and Instagram collection are inactive. Each published discovery links to its source.

A source must be configured and enabled before collection starts. A place on our watchlist does not mean we are monitoring it. Coverage is growing and is not exhaustive.

A human check for social discoveries

Our collectors run on Cloudflare and check enabled calendars throughout the day. Complete records from approved organizer sources publish automatically. Instagram announcements, ambiguous matches and incomplete records go to an owner review queue. Optional extraction can read captions and flyer images; a person checks the result before it appears here.

The Instagram connector uses Meta’s Business Discovery API for eligible professional profiles. It checks up to 50 recent feed posts per profile; it does not access private profiles, personal accounts or Stories. Video posts are read through their captions.

Edmtrain access

Edmtrain’s standard API terms restrict use in a competing discovery service. The connector remains disabled unless a separate agreement and API credentials are configured. External links to Edmtrain calendars do not mean their event data has been imported.

Collection that respects its sources

RaveTideBot identifies itself in web requests, respects robots.txt for event pages, limits request frequency and backs off when a source fails or asks us to slow down. Flyer images are used only for optional extraction and are not republished by the bot.

Dates, venues and lineups may change. Check the original event page before buying tickets or travelling. Each listing shows when it was checked. Imported listings that have not been verified for seven days are hidden until the source is successfully checked again.
